About the game
What you do in a play session
In B-Sieged: Sons of the Abyss, a dark rift opens, unleashing Abyss monsters to besiege the Citadel of Modhelm! It's up to you and your friends as brave heroes to defend the walls against this relentless horde. This 1-6 player cooperative game blends tower defense strategy with resource management - you'll need food, gold, and special abilities to survive. Each hero gets 3 actions per turn to gather resources, repair buildings, trade cards, or attack enemies. The cherry on top? A powerful catapult at the citadel's center! But beware: after the heroes, the monsters take their turn, each following unique behaviors. The battle lasts 12 rounds (representing 4 seasons), and you must hold out until the Messenger returns with a game-changing magic artifact. Oh, and there's a catch... if the Avatar of the Abyss shows up, you'd better take it down fast, or the citadel is toast! Get ready to yell 'FIRE THE CATAPULT!' and teamwork like never before.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
Recommended player count?
Works best with 3-5. 6 players gets chaotic (in a good way!), and solo requires controlling multiple heroes.
Actual playtime?
About 90-120 minutes, depending on player count and how much time you spend debating strategies!
Needs translation?
Yes, the game is English-only and needs at least a translated reference sheet. Some groups share fan translations.
Is it too hard?
It's challenging! Requires joint planning and constant adaptation. But winning against the odds feels glorious.
Worth it for miniatures?
Monster minis are gorgeous, but the siege gameplay is the real star here.
Minimum age?
Given complexity, we recommend 14+. Younger kids can play with help but will need patience.
Good replay value?
Yes! Event order and Avatar appearances create variability. But core strategy remains similar.
