About the game
What you do in a play session
Hey folks! Ready to dive headfirst into the Lone Wolf universe? In 'Lone Wolf: The Battle for Magnamund', you can step into the shoes of the last of the Kai Lords, become Prince Pelathar, heir to the throne of Sommerlund, or even embody the feared Giak warrior Kootak, sent to ravage the land. Now, all these roles are within your reach in this hand-painted (yes, by Gary!) tabletop wargame.
This is a fantastic fantasy wargame for two players, where good and evil clash in epic battles. Each player can control an entire army or just a single brigade on one side. The great thing is that the game allows you to recreate any battle or scenario from the classic Lone Wolf books, and it comes with pre-made scenarios to get you started. If you enjoy tactical challenges and deep immersion in a fantasy world, this is your game.
The components are pretty cool: flat cardboard figures (3 mm thick and die-cut) that fit into plastic bases. The board is modular, made of grid-based map cards, very similar to the material used in Cry Havoc. It's the kind of game that will appeal to those who love pure strategy, with units moving on a grid and a clear objective: victory! If you're a fan of the Lone Wolf series or enjoy wargames with a fantasy twist, you'll feel right at home.
