About the game
What you do in a play session
Bastille puts you in the role of a revolutionary leader on the eve of the French Revolution. Your goal is to position your faction to be ready when the revolution breaks out. To do this, you'll need money, influence, revolutionary leaders, weapons, and more. Each player has three influence tiles, which are placed in seven buildings around Paris. After all tiles are placed, the buildings are resolved in order of who placed the most influence, with the leader receiving an extra benefit. But beware: each building only has space for three tiles, so you'll have to choose wisely where to place your influence. Each round, a random mission is revealed, offering bonus victory points for those who collected certain items or symbols. After rounds four and eight (end of the game), players score based on their leaders, progress on the Bastille track, and collected secret missions. Whoever has the most points after eight rounds wins and becomes the leader of the Revolution!
