In Bean Trader, you step into the shoes of a medieval merchant, a member of the renowned Bohn Hanse, a league of Northern European cities that dominated the bean trade. Your mission is to travel between these cities with your wagons loaded with valuable beans, fulfilling the orders that come your way. Arrived in a city with the right beans for an order card? Go ahead and collect your thalers from the bank! If you meet other players there, how about some good old-fashioned trading? Swapping unwanted beans for those you need is crucial for success. Keep an eye on the new harvests that replenish the bean supplies and get ready: after eight of these harvests, the game enters its final stretch. Whoever accumulates the most money by the end of the last round claims victory. It's a game that demands logistical planning and a nose for business, with a historical touch and the fun of player interaction.
