About the game
What you do in a play session
Big Monster casts you as a space explorer discovering an unknown planet. Your mission? Catalog bizarre creatures, collect rare crystals, and complete Galactic Federation quests — all in just 30 minutes of pure space strategy! The game plays over two frantic rounds using a 'smart draft' system: everyone simultaneously picks a tile, places it face down, then passes the rest to someone who hasn't received tiles that round. By game end, each player will have 18 tiles in their 'intergalactic museum,' scoring points by matching monsters, completing crystal sets, and fulfilling secret objectives. Playable in teams (where the team's score is its weakest player's!) or in 2-player duels (with special rules). The simultaneous selection keeps pace brisk, while variable player powers ensure each game feels unique. Perfect for fans of light-but-strategic games with a dash of sci-fi humor!
