About the game

What you do in a play session

Space Beans is the space-themed, simplified version of the classic Bohnanza, perfect for those who want a quick and fun experience without the complexity of trading. Here, the goal is to collect 30 trophy points by forming sets of space beans — you can have one public set (face-up) and one secret set (face-down). The gameplay is straightforward: draw beans, add them to your sets if you have matching cards, and then pass your entire hand to the next player. When a set has the right number of beans (matching the number on one of the cards), you cash it in for points! For example: three violet beans, one of which has the number 3, are worth 3 points. The game is ideal for fans of light strategy and indirect interaction, as there’s no direct trading between players.
