About the game
What you do in a play session
Big Trouble in Little China: The Game – Legacy of Lo Pan is the expansion that turns the base game into an epic time‑travel campaign. Up to six heroes can now join Jack Burton, Egg and the gang to battle the villain Lo Pan across different eras, wielding the magical artifact known as the Tardisian Hourglass. Each round, players receive action points to spend on moving miniatures, attacking foes, or using their characters' unique abilities – each hero has variable powers that shape the strategy. Movement occurs across defined board areas, allowing tactical positioning and zone control. Because the game is cooperative, the group must plan together, share resources and decide how far to push their luck; pressing on can yield powerful rewards or severe penalties. A quest book drives the narrative, unveiling new challenges, supernatural encounters and the film’s signature humor. Dice resolve combat, skill checks and random events, while storytelling mechanics ensure every session tells a piece of the saga against Lo Pan. The expansion’s content was previously bundled in the Deluxe Edition, but now arrives in its own box with miniatures, mission cards, tokens and the iconic Six‑Demon Bag. If you enjoy miniatures, light role‑playing, humor and solid cooperation, this expansion delivers all of that in 90‑120 minute sessions with moderate complexity. Get ready to hop through time, earn special rewards and finally face the villain in a showdown that could rewrite the whole story.
