About the game
What you do in a play session
Twenty years ago, Dr. Johann Maischberger shocked the scientific community with his controversial experiments, leading to the expulsion of young researchers and becoming known as the 'Biohack Incident.' Now, Dr. Maischberger's daughter decides to revive her father's studies. The problem? His notes are a mystery to everyone. The solution? Call upon the 'mad scientists,' precisely those who were banned from the academy. And that's where you come in!
In Biohack, a medium-complexity game for 1 to 4 players, you take on the role of one of these eccentric scientists. Your mission is to use your 'Noman' (workers, in good old worker placement style) to acquire resources like funds and DNAs. With these elements, your goal is to create new and fascinating creatures. Each scientist has unique abilities, and the creatures you develop also bring beneficial effects, adding layers of strategy to your choices. The game continues for a predetermined number of rounds or until someone manages to create seven creatures, which triggers the end of the game. In the end, everyone tallies their Evaluation Points, and the scientist with the highest score is crowned the genius (or the maddest) of the bunch. Get ready for plenty of experimentation and strategic decisions in this science fiction universe with a mythological twist!
