Bird's Nest

Bird's Nest is a fast, light card game perfect for fans of feathered friends and snap decisions. Each player becomes a little bird trying to build the perfect nest using twigs of a single colour. The deck holds 36 cards numbered 1 to 36; the number tells how many twigs the card carries and each twig comes in one of six colours. At the start, everyone gets six cards and the goal is to have all six cards in hand share the same colour after each round. The turn begins with everyone secretly picking a card and revealing them simultaneously. If the revealed cards contain at least one of each colour, the player who played the lowest number starts; otherwise the highest number goes first. Then, clockwise, each player selects another card (not the one just played) and places it face‑down in front of them. In the next round that hidden card returns to the hand and the cycle repeats. When a player manages to line up all six cards—including the face‑down one—with the same colour, they shout "nest complete" and win. Games last 10‑15 minutes, support 4‑6 players, and require little memory but keen observation of opponents' colour choices. It’s a great party game for groups who enjoy simple strategy, light competition, and a cute nature theme.
