About the game

What you do in a play session

Blink is a two‑minute card duel that puts speed front and center. Each player starts with three cards in hand and tries to discard them as fast as possible by matching the color, shape or number of a card in hand to the top card of either of two central discard piles. There are no turns: as soon as you play a card you draw another, always keeping three cards in hand. If neither player can make a move, both simultaneously discard a card from their decks onto the piles, keeping the frantic pace alive. The first player to empty both hand and draw pile wins. For three‑player games the rules shift: each gets a third of the deck, creates a personal discard pile, and may only play onto opponents' piles. A four‑player variant exists but only as a tournament format, not a simultaneous match. The game comes in a compact metal tin, with bright cards and easy‑to‑spot symbols, perfect for fans of quick, reflex‑driven play without any paperwork. It’s ideal for lightning‑round sessions between friends, kids who love action, or adults looking for a warm‑up before a heavier game. While the rules are simple, you need constant focus and good visual pattern recognition, as a single slip can cost you the win. In short, Blink is probably the fastest card game you’ll ever play, with minimal rules and maximum fun.
