About the game
What you do in a play session
Bloc by Bloc: Uprising is an intense game where you and your friends take on the roles of revolutionary factions — Workers, Students, Neighbors, or Prisoners — fighting police oppression in a city that reshapes itself every game. With a modular board, each playthrough is unique: build barricades, occupy districts, loot shopping malls (yes, you can loot a mall in this game!), and create mutual aid networks before the army arrives to shut things down. The game can be fully cooperative, where everyone wins or loses together, or semi-cooperative with hidden agendas that can turn allies into rivals. Each round represents a night of conflict, with actions determined by dice and cards controlling the police. The pressure is relentless: in 10 nights, you either liberate the city or the regime wins. Area control mechanics, resource management, and potential betrayal create a game full of tension and tough choices. You can even play solo if you want to practice your personal revolution!
