Get ready to bluff and outsmart your friends in 'You're Bluffing!', a classic card game where cunning is as important as luck. The premise is simple: you and your opponents will be in the animal market, trying to collect valuable sets of four animals. Each player starts with a hand of money cards, including some zero-value cards – perfect for that cheeky bluff that will leave everyone guessing!
The game unfolds with an auctioneer flipping an animal card from the deck. Other players bid to buy it, and the auctioneer can either sell to the highest bidder or buy the card themselves, paying the highest bid amount. The most fun (and tense!) part happens when two players have the same type of animal: they can make a 'trade'. Here, bluffing reaches its peak, as each player offers money cards to the other without revealing the value. Whoever offered more takes the opponent's card, but without returning the money – it's legalized theft!
To keep the excitement going and ensure no one runs out of cash, donkey cards appear periodically, distributing more money to everyone and raising the stakes. The game continues until the animal deck runs out and all possible sets of four are formed. In the end, the player with the highest total value of animal quartets is the big winner. It's a game that promises laughs, suspicious glances, and plenty of interaction!
