Grab your handkerchief and your suspicion meter, because the Black Death has just landed in Bristol! In Bristol 1350, you aren't here to save the city; you're here to escape it as fast as possible. The goal is straightforward: hop into one of three apple carts and race through the streets until you reach the safety of the countryside. However, there's a catch that could ruin your life: not everyone in your cart is healthy. Some neighbors might be hiding early plague symptoms, just waiting for the right moment to pass the infection along.
If your cart is the first to leave town and is filled only with healthy villagers, congratulations, you win! But, if you exit the city carrying an infected person, you'll catch the plague yourself and be out of the game. The experience is a delightful—and somewhat cruel—mix of racing, light strategy, and social deduction. You'll need to cooperate with your cart-mates to ensure the group stays clean, but deep down, everyone is just looking out for themselves. Can you really trust that friendly neighbor, or are they just pretending they aren't coughing?
With quick and dynamic gameplay, Bristol 1350 is perfect for players who love intense social interaction, where betrayal and observation go hand in hand. It's a game of 'everyone against the chaos,' but with that extra layer of 'I'm not going down with you.' Get your dice ready, watch your friends' expressions, and good luck escaping!
