About the game

What you do in a play session

In Buck Rogers: Battle for the 25th Century, you command a faction fighting for control of the Solar System in the 25th century, in a universe inspired by 1950s retro sci-fi. The game blends deep strategy with charming vintage flair, where planets, moons, and asteroids are territories to be conquered. The board is a spectacle in itself, featuring a detailed map of the inner Solar System (Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars) and nine larger asteroids, divided into 42 strategic territories. Each faction has leaders with unique abilities, common troops ('Troopers'), genetically modified soldiers ('Gennies'), transport ships, fighters, bombers, and the dreaded Killer Satellites. The war economy even includes a Black Market for alternative acquisitions. Movement and combat mechanics are rich in detail, considering not only ship positions but also planetary orbits—allowing for surprise maneuvers when two planets align. Get ready for a gaming experience that mixes the best of classic wargames with pure space nostalgia!
