About the game
What you do in a play session
Get the confetti ready and get excited because the Night Sky Party is coming to Maple Valley! In Bunny Party at Maple Valley, you play as a bunny frantically decorating to earn the honor of hosting the big event. But here's the twist: you aren't fighting for a solo victory. This is a semi-cooperative experience where helping your neighbor can be the smartest move, as two players will emerge as winners at the end.
Each turn kicks off with players drawing cards and trade tokens. Then comes the tidying phase: you can discard cards or spend tokens to give them to another player. Next, you'll draft a villager to help with the decorations, providing helpful bonuses like extra cards or more tokens. The real challenge arrives during the card-playing phase, where you must play cards one by one until your hand is completely empty. This means you'll eventually be forced to play those awkward cards—like a hideous family heirloom that you'd rather hide, but must display for the party!
The win condition revolves around Moon and Star decorations. If a player manages to collect 5 of either and holds the most, the party officially starts. The victory is shared: if the winner used Stars, the player to their left also wins. If they used Moons, the player to their right shares the victory. With strategic item trading and careful hand management, the game creates a constant flow of negotiation and lighthearted fun, making it a perfect quick session for your gaming group.
