About the game
What you do in a play session
Calamity Hex is a explosive mix of space exploration and race against time. Your homeworld, Dog Bone, is about to turn to dust thanks to a giant volcano, so you and up to 5 friends must escape by colonizing new hexagonal worlds. The game blends territory building, resource management and a dash of bluffing - because in space, sometimes you gotta trick others to survive. Each game is unique thanks to the modular board formed by players' tile placements, and it even has a 'catch-up' mechanic inspired by Quacks of Quedlinburg for those falling behind. Want points? Build the largest colony, complete public objectives or hoard valuable resources. But beware: the clock is ticking, and lava waits for no one!
