Cat Catch is a card game that blends speed, strategy, and a touch of feline cuteness. In each session, players vie to lure the most valuable cats from the reserve by playing colorful toy cards. The board consists of modular tiles that fit into a square grid, so the layout changes every game and each placement has an immediate impact. At the start, each player receives a deck of toy cards. On every turn you draw the top card and choose where to place it on the board. The goal is to create combinations of cards that share the same color or the same type of toy. When a match is made, you check whether any cat in the reserve shares one of the colors involved. If so, you capture that cat and add it to your collection. Each capture increases your score, and the board fills up as the game progresses, creating new opportunities and blocking opponents. The matching mechanic and the modular grid require you to plan not only the current combo but also future possibilities. When the deck runs out, the final score is tallied by summing the points of each captured cat. The player with the highest total wins. The game lasts from 5 to 20 minutes, depending on the number of players, and accommodates 2 to 5 participants. It’s ideal for fans of quick card games, clever combos, and animal themes—especially cats. CapyCat Games released the game in pre‑sale in 2026, and it stands out for being easy to learn, featuring high‑quality components, and delivering a fun experience that fits nicely into short gaming sessions.
