If the carnivores go unfed, they might just take a bite out of an unsuspecting herbivore to fill their bellies! The gameplay is straightforward: each turn, you select a tile from an open pool. These tiles are of two types: objective tiles, which are set aside for end-game scoring, and dinosaur tiles, which you place in your play area. Each new dinosaur tile must overlap one or more previous tiles, covering a quarter, half, or even a whole tile, completely hiding the dinos underneath. Forming herds is crucial: dinosaurs of the same species that are adjacent become a herd. If this herd is connected to a food source, they all eat and live happily.
