Commissioned places you and your friends in the role of the early Christian apostles, in a cooperative adventure lasting about an hour for 2 to 6 players. The game uses a faith card deck that you’ll improve over time, adding power pieces, spreading the church, and collecting the books of the New Testament. Each scenario covers a distinct period of the first 150 years of church history, offering persecution and growth challenges that require teamwork. The deck‑building mechanic, combined with set collection and movement of pieces across board areas, creates a dynamic experience where each player has unique powers that alter gameplay. The game is easy to learn: you don’t need any background in Christian history or theology to enjoy it. Components include a card deck, player boards, power tokens, church tokens, persecution markers, scenario cards, a timer, and a rulebook. There are two difficulty levels and a one‑vs‑many variation, allowing a single player to face the rest of the group. If you enjoy cooperation, deck building, and a touch of historical narrative, Commissioned delivers a light, engaging, and accessible experience that doesn’t require prior religious knowledge.
