In Coney Island, your goal is to transform an empty plot of land into the world's largest and most spectacular amusement park! Your family, one of four competing, starts with a modest income, just enough to begin hiring showmen and bringing life to the site. As your park grows and your reputation improves, you can secure special favors: the police turn a blind eye, extra workers appear to help, and even show promoters and journalists start paying attention to your venture. But beware, building grand attractions requires collaboration between families; after all, no one builds an empire alone! In the end, it's these grand attractions that will impress the crowds and guarantee euphoric headlines in the newspapers.

To begin, each player receives money, building materials, and a personal board, most spaces of which are covered by showmen tiles. Each round, you receive an initial income that can be increased by removing these tiles, revealing more victory points, money, and materials. But be careful, there's a limit to what you can accumulate! Main actions include placing building site tiles to expand your park, placing showmen to boost your income and create spaces for future constructions, or erecting the coveted grand attraction tiles, which cost materials and require existing showmen, but yield many points. You can also hire special characters who offer unique actions, such as trading resources or buying newspaper tiles that are worth points and extra actions. The game continues until one player reaches 60 victory points, and then, after everyone has had an equal number of turns, the winner is crowned!
