If you enjoy cooperative games with a touch of strategy and deduction, 'Council of 12' is for you. The game offers an engaging experience where communication and teamwork are essential to overcome challenges. The central d12 manipulation mechanic is unique and challenging, while the variable characters and adjustable challenges ensure high replayability. However, the reliance on guessing teammates' actions may not appeal to everyone, and the difficulty level can be a hurdle for more casual players.

About the game

What you do in a play session

In 'Council of 12', you and your friends are members of the king's council, tasked with solving the problems caused by the mysterious twelve-sided stones that are wreaking havoc across the 12 Kingdoms. But beware, there's an even greater threat: the Royal Stone is slowly draining its owner's life force! This cooperative game for 2 to 4 players, ages 10 and up, is the sequel to the acclaimed 'King of 12'. Here, the goal is to collectively manipulate a central d12, following the requirements of the cards in play. With varied challenges and constantly changing characters, each game is a new adventure. You can let chance decide the composition of the Challenge deck or adjust it to the desired difficulty level. Cooperation is key: by playing your cards face down, you need to guess your teammates' actions to solve the puzzles. Even if things don't go as planned, there are still chances to win if you identify the solution. Survive 7 challenges and face the final task: securing the line of succession with an agreement among all players.
