About the game
Ready to take the throne? In King of 12, your goal is simple: become the new ruler of the Kingdom of 12. But you can't just sit there! To channel the necessary power, you'll need a magical orb, and to make that orb work, you'll need the help of various characters throughout the kingdom.

This is a battle of wits and mind-reading. Each player starts with the same set of seven character cards. The pace is quick: everyone chooses one card and reveals it simultaneously. This is where the tension builds! If you and a friend pick the same character, your powers cancel out and nothing happens. If no one else picked it, the card's effect triggers, affecting your magical orb (a d12, specifically!).

Once the cards are resolved, it's time for the dice. We compare the values, and the highest number wins the round's points. But watch out—there are twists! Sometimes, the lowest value might actually end up winning. The game proceeds in scoring cycles until someone wins two rounds and claims the crown.

It's the perfect choice for players who love high-quality bluffing and want something that moves quickly around the table. It's highly interactive, meaning you'll constantly be trying to read your friends' minds. And if you have a huge crowd, no worries: you can combine up to four copies of the game to host a royal feast for up to 16 players! It's fast, it's tense, and it's a blast.
