About the game
Curse You, Robin Hood! is a card game that places you in the shoes of a merchant in Sherwood Forest, trying to get rich without attracting the attention of the legendary Robin Hood. In each round, all players reveal a card from their hand simultaneously, creating a climate of negotiation, bluffing, and sharp talk. If two people reveal the same card, they trade; if three or more do, the trade rotates clockwise. The players who play the highest and lowest cards also trade, and those who haven’t yet trade with the central table. The goal is to accumulate the most “Target” symbols of a particular commodity type, but beware: whoever has the most of those symbols loses all cards of that type. At the end, the score is calculated by adding the highest value of each suit you still hold. The game is quick, with 15 to 20‑minute rounds, and works well for 1 to 6 players, making it ideal for groups looking for something light yet full of strategy and social interaction. The simultaneous action selection mechanic keeps everyone alert, while card trading and set collection add strategic depth. If you enjoy bluffing, bargaining, and putting yourself in risk‑calculated situations, Curse You, Robin Hood! is a fun and challenging choice.
