About the game
Hey everyone! Ready for an underwater adventure where greed might be your biggest foe? In Deep Sea Adventure, you're a bunch of cash-strapped explorers dreaming of striking it rich by unearthing treasures from submerged ruins. The catch? Budgets are tight, so everyone has to share the same rented submarine and, more critically, the same air tank! Yes, you heard that right: the air supply is shared by all, and if it runs out before you make it back to the sub, say goodbye to your treasures. It's a true test of who can be the cleverest (or luckiest) to bring home the biggest fortune.

The game unfolds over three thrilling rounds. The objective is straightforward: accumulate more points than your rivals, and to do that, you need to bring the most ruin chips back to the submarine. But beware! You can only return once per round, and once you're back, there's no going further. And an important detail: you can't return empty-handed; you need at least one treasure chip for the return to count. Each turn is a crucial decision: you declare whether you'll turn back or continue, the air supply decreases (for everyone!), you roll the dice to advance your pawn, and upon stopping, you decide whether to pick up a ruin chip, place one back (yes, sometimes it's better to drop it to avoid sinking!), or do nothing. The round ends when everyone is back or when the air runs out at the beginning of someone's turn. Who will be the wealthiest diver and who will lose everything in the depths?

Frequently Asked Questions
How many players does Deep Sea Adventure support and what's the average game duration?
Deep Sea Adventure is ideal for 2 to 6 players, and games are quite fast, usually taking between 30 to 40 minutes. Perfect for filling a short slot or for multiple rounds!
What is the complexity level of the game?
The complexity is very low (BGG weight of 1.18/5). The rules are super easy to pick up, making it an excellent gateway game or for those who want something light and fun.
Is it a game for kids or more for adults?
It's a game that appeals to all ages! The simplicity of the rules and the excitement of 'Push Your Luck' make it a great option for families, but the tension and interaction also greatly entertain adult groups.
What makes Deep Sea Adventure different from other 'Push Your Luck' games?
What sets it apart is the shared air tank. Every treasure you pick up reduces the air for ALL players, creating a unique collaborative/competitive tension. You're always wondering whether to be greedy or if you'll harm the group (and yourself!).
Are the components of good quality?
Yes, the components are simple but of good quality and functional. The treasure tokens are well-illustrated, and the submarine is iconic. It's a compact game, easy to take anywhere.
Is there any strategy to win, or is it pure luck?
Dice luck plays an important role, but 'Push Your Luck' strategy is crucial. Knowing when to stop, when to grab more valuable (and risky) treasures, and when to return to the submarine is what distinguishes winners. It's a delicate balance between risk and reward.
