About the game
In 2112, Earth’s resources are depleted and it’s up to you to turn an alien planet into our new home. Dice Colony places you at the heart of an interplanetary race where strategy and luck blend in an epic roll‑and‑write experience. Each turn you draw three dice from a bag: the color indicates the type of resource (energy, minerals, biome, etc.) and the number tells you how far you can place the symbol on the map. You choose which die to use, but the trick is to plan the expansion: place resources close together, form groups, establish colonies, and complete secret objectives. Scoring comes from multiple paths—resource clusters, well‑positioned colonies, and exploration missions—and the energy you gather can alter the value of future dice, reducing randomness and allowing last‑minute adjustments. The map starts small and, as you conquer territories, it expands and simultaneously shrinks, focusing on the most valuable areas. The game demands attention to detail and constant adaptation, but the paper‑and‑pencil mechanic keeps everything simple and accessible. If you love science fiction, territory building, and a dash of dice strategy, Dice Colony is the next adventure that will make you think with every roll.
