About the game
Ever thought about ditching the hero and taking charge of the evil plan? In Disney Villainous: Bigger and Badder, that's exactly what happens. You aren't trying to save the day; you're trying to ensure the villain wins. This set features three iconic baddies: Syndrome (The Incredibles), Lotso (Toy Story 3), and Madam Mim (The Sword in the Stone), each with their own dedicated board, deck, and specific win conditions.

The gameplay is completely asymmetric. This means while Syndrome is focused on upgrading his Omnidroid to crush the heroes, Lotso is manipulating Sunnyside Daycare to isolate victims in the Caterpillar Room, and Madam Mim is locked in a frantic magical duel against Merlin. Each turn involves moving your character miniature across the board and executing the actions available at that location, using ally, item, and effect cards to build your scheme.

But don't think you'll be alone in your wickedness. The game introduces the 'Fate Deck', where the real chaos happens. You can use actions to draw cards from an opponent's fate deck and play them onto their board. This blocks the opponent's actions and places heroes in their way, forcing them to waste precious turns cleaning up the mess. It's that classic 'take that' energy that keeps the table lively.

The game is perfect for those who enjoy strategy without excessive complexity. The depth comes from hand management and adapting to the obstacles other players throw your way. The best part? Bigger and Badder works as a standalone game, but if you already own other Villainous sets, you can mix and match villains for even more chaotic confrontations. It's the perfect chance to prove that, sometimes, being the villain is way more fun than being the good guy.
