Ever dreamed of managing an elite dojo and turning novices into legendary warriors? In Dojo Kun, you take command of one of the four classic fighting styles—Tiger, Crane, Bear, or Cobra—with the mission of forging the perfect fighter. The goal is clear: train your athletes, expand your facility, and dominate the prestigious White Lotus and Black Lotus tournaments. The game is structured into two intense seasons, each featuring three preparation turns. During these turns, you'll use worker placement to manage your dojo, purchase training equipment, and even seek out ancient masters in the center of the board to learn special techniques. But it's not all just training! The real climax happens during the end-of-season tournaments, where your athletes face the ultimate challenge. Combat isn't decided by brute force alone, but by an exciting roll of custom dice, where your fighter's experience level (the famous Dan) makes all the difference in determining the winner. And here's a cool detail: if you aren't fighting in a round, you can try to predict the winner to gain extra prestige. If a dojo doesn't send enough fighters, the mysterious Skull Dojo steps in to fill the slots and might even steal your spotlight! At the end of two seasons, whoever has accumulated the most prestige will be crowned the grand master. It's a perfect blend of resource management, training strategy, and that delicious tension of watching the dice roll to decide a champion's fate.
