About the game

What you do in a play session

Tired of chasing her grandchildren, Grandma Ama has a brilliant idea for some peace and quiet: she promises her famous fruit salad if they go to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Thailand to collect the ingredients. In Floating Market, you are these eager grandchildren, competing to be the first to gather five different types of fruit and, of course, secure the first bowl of salad! The task isn't easy, as the boats filled with mango, banana, papaya, guava, grapefruit, rambutan, and the famous starfruit are constantly shifting along the canal. Each player has their own 'customers' (the grandchildren, in this case) who will be assigned both to fruit boats to collect them, and to buildings that grant special abilities. Each round, you also add a die to the central 'pool', trying to influence which fruit boat will distribute its treasures. The game combines polyhedral dice, worker placement, and a dash of dice speculation, creating an accessible and fun experience for everyone. The rules are simple and intuitive, making it perfect for families or groups of new gamers. But don't be fooled: more experienced players will enjoy the unique blend of familiar mechanics with quick gameplay and a very interesting use of dice.
