About the game
What you do in a play session
Bohemian Villages drops you into the heart of a bustling medieval town where every move can either pad your purse or empty it. You can take on the role of a merchant, innkeeper, factory owner, or even the mayor, and each job has its own win condition: rack up the most shops, bring in enough guests, cooperate with the townsfolk, or rally the entire village behind you. The game is all about dice, and the numbers you roll dictate which buildings you can claim and what resources you gain. At the start of each round, everyone rolls a die, and depending on the result you may deploy workers to different areas of the village. Those workers bring income, influence, or other perks, and having them in the right spot can secure an area majority, giving you bonus points at the end of the game. There are also moments when you can use the “King of the Hill” to try and dominate the central hill and earn extra points. The “Income” mechanic means that the money you accumulate over the course of the game is crucial, so planning the sequence of building occupation is key. Even though the game lasts only about 30 minutes, the tension builds quickly as rounds stack up and players try to anticipate each other’s moves. Bohemian Villages is a tactical dice‑rolling game that blends strategy with a splash of luck, perfect for anyone who loves fast decisions and a dash of chance. If you enjoy games that combine planning and improvisation, this title will surprise you.
