About the game
What you do in a play session
In Dungeon Draft, get ready for a card-drafting adventure where 2 to 5 players compete to accumulate the most experience points (XP) over four intense rounds. The game begins with each player choosing three initial quests out of five, which will guide their strategies. Each round, you'll receive seven cards to draft, passing them between players clockwise or counter-clockwise, depending on the round. With gold in hand, you'll recruit powerful heroes and weapons, which cost gold and offer special abilities, as well as attack points, additional gold, and XP. But be aware: most hero and weapon effects only last for the current round, except for their attack, gold, and XP values, which remain. To defeat monsters, you need to have a total attack equal to or greater than the monster's cost. Defeated monsters can yield XP, gold, or activate unique effects before being discarded. Quests, on the other hand, require specific classes of heroes and weapons to be completed and can have abilities that last multiple rounds. At the end of each turn, discard unplayed cards, gain gold (base + production from your cards), and pass the turn. After four rounds, it's time to tally up the XP and crown the greatest adventurer!
