In Dungeon Petz, you take on the role of an imp family leader who has just ventured into the lucrative, yet chaotic, business of breeding and selling pets. But these aren't your average pets, mind you! We're talking about magical, often temperamental monsters with very peculiar needs, destined to become the new companions of fearsome Dungeon Lords! The life of a monstrous pet breeder is anything but dull. Your 'little ones' can be super cute one minute, and the next, sick or making a huge mess just when you need to impress a buyer. Sometimes, you even breathe a sigh of relief when you get rid of one of them, but the profit, oh, the profit makes it all worthwhile! Dungeon Petz is a standalone game, set in the same universe as Dungeon Lords, but with a completely different twist. Over several rounds, players use a very original worker placement system, where you form groups of imps of different sizes to determine your action order. This strategy is crucial for acquiring the best resources and tending to your monsters' needs, represented by cards. The ultimate goal is to sell them as scary, well-cared-for creatures to the Dungeon Lords, ensuring a good payout. And to spice things up even more, you can participate in contests with your pets, showcasing their qualities and earning extra points. Get ready for lots of fun, strategy, and, of course, some good laughs with your mischievous little monsters!
