About the game
What you do in a play session
Empires of the Void II is the sequel to a classic 4X that puts you in command of a massive Worldship, ready to conquer the galaxy in search of resources, influence, and power. The game starts when your ship reaches the distant edge of the universe, where few planets are still inhabited and most are in a primitive state. You must decide: will you build alliances with species still struggling to survive, or will you crush them with armies and technology? Gameplay blends strategic planning with sharp diplomacy and epic battles, all on a modular board that changes each game, offering 2‑5 players 90‑180 minutes of pure cosmic adrenaline. Each player receives a set of Variable Player Powers, allowing unique play styles—from a pacifist scientist investing in technology to an unrelenting conqueror expanding their empire by force. The Action Points system offers flexibility, while the Area Majority mechanic ensures that territory conquest is always rewarding. Hand Management and Dice Rolling add tension and unpredictability, keeping the game dynamic. The game also features detailed miniatures and high‑quality components that bring battles and negotiations to life. If you love deep strategy games with a lot of player interaction and a vibrant sci‑fi setting, Empires of the Void II is the right choice. Get ready to command your empire and leave your mark on the galaxy!
