About the game
Voidfall puts you in charge of one of the Great Houses still daring enough to challenge the corrupted rule of House Novarchon. In a sci‑fi setting where the human galactic empire is being devoured by an interdimensional entity called the Voidborn, you must rebuild sectors, advance technologies and field fleets to push the corruption back. The game unfolds over three cycles, each introducing a galactic event that alters the rules, a new scoring condition, and a limited pool of focus cards. Those cards are the engine of the game: each turn you pick two of three impactful actions, allowing you to develop tech, progress along your house‑specific civilization tracks, manage sector infrastructure, population and production, and conquer new hexes with up to five different fleet types. The modular hex‑tile board ensures a fresh map every play, and grid movement gives tactical maneuvering. Space battles are fully deterministic—no dice—rewarding careful preparation and clever use of command cards. You can play solo, cooperatively against the Voidborn, or competitively against other players, all with the same rule set. Multiple playable houses and countless map setups give high replay value, while the blend of 4X depth and Euro‑style resource management delivers empire‑building heft with low‑luck decision making.
