Empyrean Hero: The Card Game plunges you directly into epic sky-battles that define the fate of a dystopian future. Imagine heroes reborn amidst chaos, fighting side-by-side in search of redemption and training for a greater confrontation against dark hordes. The objective here isn't to accumulate life or victory points, but to break through enemy defenses and destroy the opposing base. It's a tactical engine-building game where you assemble an arsenal of abilities to circumvent the rules and dive deep into the complexities of the HERO universe. Each turn is a crucial decision: you can only take ONE action, so it's vital to read your opponents and choose wisely. Every choice comes with a steep opportunity cost! The actions are H.E.R.O.: Heal your heroes, Enhance your heroes with new cards from your custom deck (you build your deck beforehand, or use pre-made ones), Recruit new heroes from the common market, or Overcome enemy defenses to seek that one-turn win. It's a true test of iron sharpening iron, where hand management and team strategy are essential. Easy to learn, but a journey to master, this game promises intense battles and surprising twists. Prepare for training!
