About the game
What you do in a play session
Enchanters is a fantasy card game where each match is a quest to forge and evolve a magical artifact. At the start, each player takes five crystals and shuffles together as many kingdom decks as there are players to form the main deck. Six cards are laid out on the journey track, representing items, enchantments and other components that can be combined. On your turn you spend crystals to claim cards from the track, placing them into adjacent stacks: items go to the item stack and effects like "of Fire" go to the enchantment stack. When both stacks are complete, an artifact is created, for example "Long Sword of Fire", granting temporary bonuses (top icons) and permanent ones (bottom icons).
Besides upgrading your gear, you can battle monsters that appear along the way. Combat is straightforward: compare your defense against the monster's strength to see if you take damage, then accumulate enough attack to reduce the monster's health to zero. Each defeated monster yields victory points and, if rare, becomes a trophy kept for the end. Occasionally you may rest in the village, gaining extra crystals or healing wounds, but doing so discards the first card from the journey track. At the end of each turn the track is refilled to six cards. The game ends when the last card is taken or discarded, and the player with the most victory points wins. Open Drafting lets everyone see what’s available and plan their picks, while Set Collection encourages building powerful item‑enchantment combos. With 30‑60 minute playtime, light rules (weight 1.9/5) and support for 2‑4 players, Enchanters is perfect for fans of quick strategy, deck‑building and a dash of epic fantasy, even allowing you to slay a dragon if you plan well.
