Euchre

Euchre is that kind of card game that, although it can accommodate up to seven players, truly shines with four, divided into partnerships. It's a super straightforward bidding and trick-taking game, perfect for those who enjoy uncomplicated partnerships. Players usually use a reduced deck, with cards from 9 upwards (A, K, Q, J, 10, 9), but you can also use a standard deck by removing the lower cards. The objective is simple: win at least three out of the five tricks up for grabs. A card is turned to determine the trump suit for the round, and each player, in turn, decides whether to accept it or not. If everyone refuses, another bidding round takes place to see who will choose the trump. The player who sets the trump still has the option to play alone or with their partner. Playing alone increases the stakes, both in points gained and penalties if things go wrong!
