About the game
In Fate of the Elder Gods, you take on the role of a mad cultist trying to summon an ancient entity and bring about the end of humanity. Each cult is in competition to be the first to perform the ritual, but all must deal with brave investigators attempting to seal the portals with Elder Signs. Collect arcane artifacts, cast powerful spells, and embrace the dark gift of your Elder God to hasten destruction before it's too late! During the game, you use spell cards to navigate the unique Fate Clock board or prepare new spells. Controlling strategic areas can grant powerful abilities, but beware: too much activity attracts investigators, who can sabotage your plans. If you can raise your Summon Track to 9 before the investigators save humanity, your Elder God will awaken and you will win — but, of course, that means the end of the world. Is it worth it?
