Embark on a new adventure in Final Quest 2, the direct sequel to the first game! After escaping the Caverns of Mourne, you find yourself on the surface, but with a twist: five years have passed. Amidst your confusion, a mysterious woman, Fiana, appears with an urgent request. Your reputation as a warrior, even after so long, still resonates, and she needs your help for a dangerous quest. The region is plunged into a brutal conflict between Druids and mythical beasts. You agree to help, but with one condition: first, you must return home and reunite with your family. Fiana accepts the terms, and so your journey begins. Will you be able to make it back home? And what will be left of everything you knew after all these years? It's time for one Final Quest! The main objective in Final Quest 2 is to build your reputation until you reach the required level to face the final boss. Gameplay is driven by a deck of cards. Each turn, you draw a card and encounter the events detailed on it. Some cards offer multiple options, allowing you to choose your own path. Cards include NPCs (non-player characters), opponents, locations, and equipment. When drawing a location card, you can choose to enter to gain unique rewards. Reputation is essential and is gained through the cards. NPC cards can trigger immediate mini-games or longer quests that you can complete over the course of the game. Battling opponents and searching locations will also yield rewards and reputation points. Combat and skill checks are resolved with dice rolls.
