About the game

What you do in a play session

For-Ex II: She Made Another One brings back Amabel Holland's wild currency trading, but with a faster pace and a longer contract queue. Each currency only has value relative to the others, so prices are always shifting and it’s up to you to read the market. At the start everyone gets an identical set of action tokens; when you take an action you place the used token into a common pool, and by choosing the Resolve action you refill your hand with the leftmost tokens from that pool. Hands diverge quickly, forcing decisions based on both the pool contents and the next contract to resolve. The investment market is split into two rows; investing removes the leftmost currency from a row and you may also invest in the leftmost currency of the other row, provided it’s a different type. Well‑timed plays can block the next player from grabbing two currencies in a row, creating a “one‑bite‑of‑the‑apple” effect. Whiteboard markers replace money cards and certificates, speeding everything up and cutting the price in half. With a 3/5 weight, a game runs about 60 minutes for 3‑4 players, delivering a blend of commodity speculation, hand management, and stock holding that will please fans of dynamic economic decisions without endless math.
