Your mission is to face these perils, perhaps even forge alliances with these new races, to confront even more sinister forces lurking in the shadows. Frosthaven is a standalone experience from the creator of Gloomhaven, but with an expanded universe. It introduces sixteen new heroes, three never-before-seen races, over twenty enemy types, a hundred fresh items, and a massive campaign with one hundred scenarios! While retaining Gloomhaven's addictive combat system, Frosthaven adds a ton of new things to do outside of battles. You'll unravel mysteries, deal with a seasonal event system that impacts the game, and best of all: control the expansion of your own village. Each new building you construct opens doors to new ways to progress on your journey. Oh, and yes, items from Gloomhaven can be brought over, but the economy here is different: resources are valuable, and you'll have to get your hands dirty with a crafting system instead of just buying them.
