Imagine you're enjoying an amazing hike through Japan, ready to admire the view from Mount Fuji, when suddenly the ground starts shaking and the volcano decides to erupt! That's exactly the chaos you'll face in Fuji. Here, you and your friends take on the roles of adventurers trying to escape the melting lava to reach a safe village before it's too late. The game is cooperative, meaning either everyone survives, or nobody does—no blaming your friends when the lava catches you!
The gameplay is fast-paced and intense. Each round, all players simultaneously and secretly roll their dice behind their screens. Your goal is to navigate through a series of terrain cards, but there's a catch: each card requires a specific dice value to be overcome. To move forward, you must achieve a better result than your neighbors on the trail. The real challenge, however, is that you only know your own dice results and can only communicate very vaguely with the group. This creates a delicious tension, where you must read the subtle cues from other players to know if they are in danger or if the path is clear. Can you coordinate this desperate escape using only subtle hints and a lot of luck? If anyone becomes exhausted or is caught by the lava, the group loses. It's a quick survival game, perfect for those who love a dash of tension and the challenge of teamwork under pressure!
