Get ready for an electrifying hunt across Europe in *Fury of Dracula*, a deduction and hidden movement game that casts one player as the legendary Count Dracula and the others as relentless hunters. Released in 2015, this modern classic has received new editions that enhance the experience with refreshed art and graphic design, alongside more fluid and intuitive gameplay.
Rounds are divided into day and night, creating a tense dynamic. During both day and night, the hunters can move, search for clues, and set traps for the vampire. Dracula, cunning and dangerous, only acts under the cloak of darkness, moving secretly across the map of Europe and spreading his nefarious influence. Combat, which could previously be a bit drawn out, has been streamlined to be faster and more decisive, maintaining the thrill of confrontations.
An interesting new addition are the rumor tokens, which Dracula can use to mislead his pursuers and expand his dominion, adding an extra layer of bluffing and strategy. The Count's objective is to advance his influence track to thirteen, plunging the continent into darkness. If the hunters manage to corner and defeat him before then, they save Europe and win the game.
The fourth edition of *Fury of Dracula* retains the essence of the third, but brings some component improvements, such as pre-painted miniatures, a clearer rulebook, and poker-sized cards, facilitating handling and immersion. It's a game with high language dependency, so a good translation is essential to enjoy all the thematic and strategic richness.
