About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready to get your hands dirty (literally!) with Glass Garden, a solo game where you become a dedicated gardener aiming to create the perfect terrarium. Forget multiplayer for a moment, because this mission is personal: cultivate succulents in a 3x9 grid, bordered by glass cards. Each turn, you can move your little plants to optimize resource collection in 'fertile zones' – those areas where rows meet. Each plant has its own recipe for growth, and when they flourish, they not only provide more resources and special abilities but can also flip adjacent glass cards to their 'sunlight' side, granting extra moves at game's end. But beware! A hungry critter lurks, advancing relentlessly and destroying your hard work. Your challenge is to minimize the critter's damage while maximizing your plants' growth, aiming for the highest score possible. The game ends when the critter reaches the end of its path. It's a battle of wits against nature (and a very inconvenient creature!), where every decision counts towards becoming the Master Gardener. Perfect for those who love a quick, strategic challenge with a relaxing yet tense theme.

Glass Garden is designed for a single player. It's you against the garden (and the nasty critter)!
Is it a complicated game to learn?
The complexity is quite low (2/5 weight on BGG), but the strategic decisions can be very interesting. Ideal for those who want something quick but thought-provoking.
Does it require many components?
Not at all! It's a card game, usually very compact, often in a 'wallet game' format, easy to take anywhere.

Yes, the game has language dependency. The cards need to be read, so a translation is recommended or necessary to play comfortably.
