About the game

What you do in a play session

In GOLDblivion, get ready for a fantastic medieval gold rush, where you'll build your colony and conquer territories to become the King or Queen! The goal is to be the first to accumulate 10 gold ingots, and the key to achieving this lies in the clever management of two distinct decks: one focused on combat and the other on development. Each turn, you must make a strategic decision: remove a card from your hand and place it in a specific section of your player board. This card, once there, will continuously generate a valuable resource throughout the game, and as a bonus, it helps 'cleanse' your deck of less useful cards, optimizing your future draws. The combat aspect involves conquering territories, represented by hexagonal tiles. The number of free spaces around a tile determines how many cards you can draw from your combat deck to face the enemy guarding that location. Be aware, as opponents grow stronger as you advance, but the rewards also increase! With a constantly changing card market, the trick is to develop a long-term strategy. Find the best combinations between Elf, Dwarf, Human, and Building cards to maximize your gold production and claim the crown of GOLDblivion!
