GoodCritters is the perfect game for fans of bluffing, negotiation, and a splash of animal humor. You and 3 to 7 other friends take on the role of criminals hunting for a big haul. One player is chosen as the boss, who has the final say in how the loot is split. But the crew gets the last word: if they’re not happy with the division, they can fire the boss and pick a new leader. The voting mechanic turns every turn into a battle of persuasion, while simultaneous action selection keeps the tension high – everyone secretly chooses their moves and reveals them together. Bribery comes into play when the boss tries to “buy” votes by offering a share of the loot. The goal is simple: end up with the most valuable stash of loot, which requires not only clever bluffing but also sharp reading of the other players. The game lasts 30 to 45 minutes, making it ideal for parties or family game nights, and the learning curve is moderate with clear rules and quality components: loot tokens, action cards, and a stylized crime scene board. If you enjoy games that mix humor, competition, and group decision‑making, GoodCritters will have you laughing and strategizing at the same time.
