About the game

What you do in a play session

Ever had that friend who always finds a way to bend the rules? Well, in Tiefe Taschen, everyone is that friend! Get ready to dive into the filthiest political underworld you've ever seen. Here, nobody is a saint, and there's only one goal: lining your own pockets with public funds. Players take on the roles of extremely corrupt politicians trying to decide how to divvy up the available treasury.

The dynamics are delicious chaos. One player acts as the president, attempting to distribute the money in whatever way benefits them most, but don't think it'll be easy. The rest of the crowd will use every trick in the book to secure their cut. We're talking intense negotiations, shady bribes, and even heavy blackmail to ensure your vote becomes the deciding factor.

The real tension hits during the voting phase. If the majority decides the president's proposal is a total rip-off (or if it simply doesn't serve their interests), the current leader is ousted and must resign immediately, handing the presidency to another player. This keeps the game constantly shifting, with power changing hands and alliances being betrayed every single round.

With a simultaneous action selection mechanic, the pace is frantic. No one sits around waiting for their turn; the chaos happens all at once, making the experience highly dynamic and perfect for groups who love social interaction and plenty of banter. It's a game of bluffing and pure mischief, ideal for larger groups who enjoy testing each other's loyalty. If you love party games where diplomacy is just an excuse for betrayal, Tiefe Taschen is your game!
