About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for a night of howls and betrayal in Growl, a fast-paced and chaotic card game where no one is who they seem! With 4 to 10 players (or up to 15 with more cards), the village is under attack by werewolves, and your mission is to figure out who's on your side and who wants to turn you into the next beast.

The objective? Simple: humans try to survive and expose the wolves, while wolves aim to spread the infection and turn everyone. Cards on the table reveal bites (bringing you closer to becoming a wolf) or wounds (bringing you closer to death). Each turn, you draw a card and decide who to give it to – an innocent move or a deadly trap?

When night falls, the magic (or terror) happens: everyone secretly passes cards to their neighbors. This is where the infection spreads, and innocent humans can become werewolves. But beware, charms can negate bites and salves heal wounds. Three wounds mean you're out. Three bites turn you into a wolf – and only wolves can pass bites at night!

At the end of the third night, if the deck runs out, Wolf Zero starts to howl. If any humans are still standing, they win. If all survivors are wolves, the pack triumphs! Growl is pure tension, bluffing, and laughter, perfect for livening up any party with its simplicity and unexpected twists. It's an intense and quick experience, ideal for those who enjoy games with a touch of paranoia and direct player interaction.
