About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready to hoist the pirate flag and dive into a world of intrigue and betrayal with Traitors Aboard! This is a hidden role party game that mixes generous doses of strategy, bluffing, and plenty of social interaction. The premise is simple, but the execution is full of twists: you and your friends become part of a pirate crew, but not everyone is on the same boat (literally!).

In Traitors Aboard, each player secretly assumes one of two main roles: either you are a loyal Pirate, whose objective is to fill the crew's chest with riches and ensure the success of the endeavor, or you are a sneaky Mutineer, determined to discreetly sabotage the Pirates' collection and sow chaos aboard the ship. The game's dynamic revolves around heated discussions, sharp questioning, and the sharing of information – which can be true or false, depending on your role and strategy.

Throughout the game, you'll need to coordinate your efforts with your allies (whoever they may be!) or, if you're a Mutineer, betray your colleagues at the most opportune moment to turn the tide in your favor. The key to victory lies in your ability to identify your teammates, be cunning enough to deceive your opponents, and strategically use the items available on the ship. Can you unmask the traitors before they sink the ship, or will you, as a Mutineer, manage to prevail and leave the Pirates high and dry? The fate of the crew is in your hands... and on your tongue!
