About the game
What you do in a play session
Guards of Atlantis: Tabletop MOBA is a competitive board game inspired by computer MOBA games. Each player controls a unique hero, using cards to move them across the board, activate special abilities, and attack enemies. Defeating enemy minions earns coins, which can be used to level up your hero and acquire more powerful abilities. The goal is to help your minions (game-controlled units) advance to the enemy base and capture it. While it can be played with just two players, the game truly shines when two teams face off, encouraging teamwork and tactical strategies. Each hero starts with five cards but can upgrade to more powerful versions as they level up. Cards are played simultaneously and resolved in initiative order, with no dice rolls—everything depends on how you manage your hand and anticipate opponents' moves. The game is divided into rounds, with each round allowing up to four action turns. If a team loses all their minions in an area, the 'lane' is pushed, bringing surviving minions closer to the enemy base. The first team to get their minions to the opponent's base wins!
