About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for a heavy dose of paranoia and distrust. Hain: İlk Şüphe is that kind of social deduction game that will make you look sideways at your best friends. Supporting 5 to 10 players, the premise is classic: agents must identify and eliminate the hidden traitors before it's too late. The game shines by splitting the match into day and night cycles, where the tension escalates quickly. During the night, traitors act in the shadows, eliminating a player, while the day is reserved for that heated debate and the vote that decides who will be the next to be kicked off the table.

What makes Hain interesting is its technological structure and dynamics. The game uses a web-based narrator to guide the phases and keep track of who has been eliminated and which roles are still in play, which takes the burden off having a human game master and leaves everyone free to focus on the investigation. Beyond the basic roles, we have the Detective, who can check someone's loyalty, and the Apprentice Detective, who takes over if the original is eliminated. And, of course, to spice things up in larger groups, there is the Saboteur, an independent role with its own victory conditions, creating an extra layer of chaos where no one is truly safe.

Agents win when the last traitor is purged, but the traitors win if they manage to survive until the final showdown between the last two players. It is a fast, dynamic game that doesn't forgive mistakes. If you enjoy games where smooth talking, bluffing, and the ability to read facial expressions are your main weapons, Hain will become a favorite for your game nights. Brew some coffee, gather the crew, and try not to be the first one eliminated!
